Mt Eliza Village Vet is a small, family-owned and operated clinic at 85 Canadian Bay Road, Mount Eliza, run by husband-and-wife veterinarians Drs Pete and Libby Sorensen.
The practice opened in 2016, after Pete and Libby pursued a range of veterinary paths, from mixed practice to emergency medicine and surgery, and decided to bring that experience home to the village where Pete grew up.
Our team
We're a team of ten: four veterinarians, five nurses and our receptionist Corinna. Everyone here is dedicated to providing a high standard of modern, personal and compassionate care for our patients, and we actively support ongoing professional development, so our skills keep growing with the profession.
Our facilities
The clinic offers routine preventative care, dental services, desexing, diagnostics and surgery, with a fully operational theatre for soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, including advanced TPLO surgery performed in-house. We also run puppy pre-school classes.
We care for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles and guinea pigs, and we help injured wildlife too.
